Where do allergies come from?

How to detect allergies

The first stage is to collect anamnesis, a lengthy questioning of the patient. And the more a doctor asks, the better a doctor. Run away from allergists who do not ask you many questions, but immediately prescribe expensive tests. The next step is an allergic hand test, the so-called scarifying test. This test is used to identify the allergen that caused the reaction and the degree of sensitization to it. The person’s hand is lightly scratched and a drop of the allergen solution is applied to each of them. And they watch the reaction.

Allergies are treatable!

The first thing to do is remove the cause. If you’re allergic to cats, don’t start them at home. There’s a reaction to flowering – don’t walk in parks and woods, keep the windows closed.

There are five allergens to which cats are allerginated: cereals, pollen from trees, mites, weeds and mould. In small doses, an allergen is injected into the body, the body gets used to it and stops responding to it in a non-standard way. Vaccinations can be in the form of drops, injections, pills.
